Core Return Procedures
Core must be returned complete and assembled in HRD’s original shipping crate within 30 days for HRD to review for core credit. Cores received not in their original container or after 30 days will be subject to a deduction from the core credit.
- Drain all excess oil out of core component prior to shipment.
- Attach provided core return tag to core component.
- Place oil sample taken from machine inside the crate with the component.
- Fill out provided packing slip and attach to top of shipping crate.
- Complete provided Roadway Freight bill of lading for Deferred Services, freight collect.
- Call Roadway Air at 1-866-736 –3247, option #2 and schedule a pick up for deferred service, freight collect.
- When calling, refer to HRD’s customer code # 870-6455. Roadway Air will give you a Quote ID#. Make sure that this number is written down on the Bill of Lading on the attached sticker.
Cores must be returned using Roadway. Use of any other carrier without prior approval from Hydraulic Repair and Design may result in back freight charges.
General Core Criteria.
In order to be considered for core credit, the core component must be re-buildable at a reasonable cost.
Cracked or damaged main housings, cover plates, sealing surfaces, regulators or controllers will result in a partial or complete core deduction dependant upon severity of damage.
