REPAIR & RETURN
Although we specialize in excavator components, the Pump, Motor and Valve department at HRD has the in-house capability of repairing and testing all brands of pumps, motors, valves and winches. Our philosophy is "if it has hydraulic oil in it, HRD can repair it."
Advanced engineering techniques, and full in-house machining capabilities respected industry wide, give HRD part salvaging capabilities unmatched in the industry. These capabilities, acquired over the last thirty years, make it possible to save our customers time and keep our prices competitive. Every year we find ways to fabricate and salvage parts the OEM’s no longer supply or support.
In the hydraulic repair industry, main control valves are one of the most difficult components to remanufacture. At HRD, our valve department has the technical expertise and necessary equipment to remanufacture main control valves at a substantial cost savings compared to new. The key features to these repairs are; complete disassembly, tolerances to 0.0003 in., reliefs rebuilt and set, bores honed and chromed to fit, OEM seals and back up rings, machined valve seats and poppets to fit, and fully tested with a one year 1500 hour warranty. Fabricating oversized spools for deeply damaged bores is just one method. HRD can salvage valves no one else can repair.

Six Test Stands
425 HP Diesel Note: Soon to come 550 HP Diesel, 100 HP open loop, 125 HP open loop/closed loop - variable speed, 0-30 GPM Static valve and motor, 50000lb. Winch pull test (brake test to 100000lbs.)

The Pump, Motor and Valve Department has over one million dollars in inventory. It consists of 6800 line items to help support our repair service center for fast turnaround. We also stock Reman Exchange units for Kawasaki, Rexroth, Uchida, Hydramatik, Linde, Sundstrand, Caterpillar, KYB, and Hitachi to name a few.
